Major department store was interested in a low cost, high value premium to encourage higher level spend on store credit card for Mother’s Day. Prior year offer was 15% off a purchase of $500 or more during a one day promotion.

Propco worked with department store to test a Discounted Companion  Airline Ticket with any purchase of $500 or more during one day period promotion for Mother’s Day.  The program was supported in print advertising, in store signage, and direct mail and email database marketing.

Offer resulted in a 28% lift in transactions of $500 or more over prior year.  Due to success of the program, the promotion was run again the same year for a 2 day period prior to Black Friday. Results were consistent. The program is now the department store’s champ offer for Mother’s Day & Thanksgiving promotions.
